Still has its small-town vibe, along with "The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas." Lots of options for recreation and entertainment that runs the gamut. From swimming and hiking to theatre and nightlife. The area is very safe and has a great, well-funded, police force. Leans slightly liberal, but the general animosity of current political divides isn't very apparent like other places in TX. Overall, people just look after each other here. there's a great sense of community and you really feel proud to live in this city. The area is expanding very fast, so housing prices and general traffic are reflecting that. The tradeoff is worth it!
